Garden Stone with Leaf Impression

A cool pictorial tutorial at the sunsetgurldesign blog you can follow to make your own leaf-impressed garden stone.

Can you think of other leaves or something other than leaves to use as an impression?

    Cedar boughs look great…hostas perhaps?

I’ve done this with ivy, which is a very nice effect. I bet rosemary would be a good choice as well.
We make stones that will not be stepped on with bare feet out of old broken pottery, using a similar technique. Grandma handles the shards, of course!
