I saw this video quite some time ago when I was watching a documentary on the making of Coraline. Being the person I am, I opened up a couple paper clips, put a point on the end using a file, and cast on ten stitches with 1 stand of variegated floss. It took me about an hour to realize I would NEVER have the patience for this :) I am in awe of her work!

  3. So imaginative and inspiring. I love love love this. Living in her mind must be so amazing.

We actually had the opportunity to meet Althea. She once exhibited at Philadelphia Miniaturia (annual dollhouse show) near our home and she is amazingly talented and amazingly kind. She spent a good while speaking with my young daughters and answering their questions. We now own Coraline and we think of her often!
