My love of books was stretched a notch when I received this book as a gift from my husband, who came back from London last week, just in time to celebrate the anniversary of our first meeting years ago (which he had me at hello, I might add). This small cloth-covered book is full of treasures in words and images. With gold lettering and rounded corners, it was first published in 1903 and is now reprinted with the same integrity and quality. If you love Elsa Beskow’s storybook, The Flower Festival for your children, you will love this book for just you! Following are a few images for peeking:

Elsa Beskow’s book is a feast for the eye for children of all ages.
All I had asked him to bring me was tea and this poster from V&A museum, which was greatly needed.
This poster was designed by the British government during the war to encourage people, but is useful at any time of stress!

Elsa’s books are keepsakes. Of all my children’s books these would be the ones never to be sold, but treasured for generations to come.
Elas’s books are a treasure for the eyes and heart. This is one I do not have and would like to add to my collection. The dolls will be added to the collection of ones I have made to share with my preschool class.

What a delightful book, just so beautiful, precious in any child’s life, or the child within oneself!. Fairies, not one but three devine little treasures, I have been going to gift these to my eight year old daughter Saskia Ruby, for a while now I just couldn’t decide which one to start her fairy journey with.

I love Bella luna toys mostly because they are natural, vibrant and classic toys made to last a life time. Holding a toy made of wood has an energy deficient in so many toys today of the plastic fantastic variety. these toys encourage children to be children, still in their imagination, not their intellect and learn through play as play is the ‘work’ of children.

Hello Everybody, I already read the Flower Festival for some years now to my Waldorf-sons and they love it ! We almost have all Elsa Beskows books! I am truely amazed by the doll’s! They are really beautiful! and my boys eventhough they are really boys, they have there bed full with doll’s, felted animals, stuffed felt cars, and felted owls (made by me) and so a doll would be greatly appreciated!
