Beach color assortment

Bonbons is Lion Brand’s collections of 8 miniature skeins of yarn in one package. Each assortment includes 8 shades, perfect for any project requiring multiple colors, such as frinedship bracelets, amigurumi, colorwork, embroidery, and children’s crafts.  The cotton Bonbons are available in two assortments: mercerized cotton in brights (Beach), and mercerized cotton in spring shades (Nature).  Following is a photo of the Nature shades:

Beautiful Valentine’s Friendship Bracelets tutorial from Purl Bee.

We loved making these friendship bracelets as children but have never made any with patterns like these, especially designed for Valentine’s Day!

What a great craft to make for  a special friend…time to get out the embroidery floss and check out the tutorial!

Bayarri pattern by Berroco knitted with Linsey yarn

This casual cardigan from Berroco uses two different shades of a beautiful, self-striping yarn (Linsey) made of cotton and linen. Linsey is offered both in solid colors as well as variegated. The yarn is soft and drapes well and the color palette has a natural look. The body is knit sideways in one piece from right front edge to left front edge.
